About This Tool
Chat Search lets Casper retrieve relevant parts of a user’s previous conversations when they refer back to something discussed earlier.
Instead of relying only on the current chat session, Casper can search past conversation history, find the most relevant previous messages, and temporarily bring that context into the current conversation so it can respond naturally and accurately.
It can help with things like:
Finding previous conversations about a topic
Recalling something discussed earlier
Referencing conversations from previous days or sessions
Recovering relevant user and Casper messages together
Returning up to the most relevant matching conversation results
Reusing retrieved context temporarily during the current session
Keeping chat-history search scoped to the correct user and system
Allowing Casper to naturally continue previous discussions
The retrieved conversation context is temporarily stored for the active session and automatically expires after 30 minutes.
